On Sunday I had the absolute honor of photographing R + J's wedding in Los Angeles! It was a beautiful day full of joy, love, laughter and happy tears! I couldn't be happier for these two and wish them all the love in the world! Enjoy this sneak peak for now :)

J & D had a beautiful and intimate wedding last week at the El Encanto Resort in Santa Barbara. El Encanto is a historic and breathtaking property nestled in the hills above the city. It is the perfect place for nature lovers to get married as you are surrounded by hills, trees and an amazing ocean view! So it was truly the perfect place for J & D to get married as they love California and our beautiful coastline.J & D traveled half way across the country so they could be married here in Santa Barbara and it was such an honor to document their beautiful day. These two have been together for quite a long time, and so it was truly moving to witness them being able to finally make their love and commitment to each other official. They were surrounded by their family and closest friends who cheered them on with so much love and joy. After their ceremony, they had a beautiful intimate dinner on the Ocean Terrace. Great conversation, yummy food, heartfelt toasts, and lots of laughs were had by all. It was such a happy night. I was grinning so big from ear to ear photographing it. Because weddings like this? Weddings where it's all about love, family, friends, and just celebrating the gifts of life? That is really what it is all about.Huge thanks to Percy Sales for his amazing job planning this wedding! Fun fact-- this wedding was planned in less than 25 days, which makes Percy a rock star! Also, shout out to Keith J Laverty for the beautiful floral design for this intimate celebration! I am so excited to share my last engagement session of 2012 which was with the beautiful Rachael and Sadie! Rachael and I go wayyyyyy back. Like back to the days of being in musical theater camp in elementary school. So when Rachael told me via facebook she was engaged and wanted me to photograph her big day I was thrilled! How fun for life to come full circle like that... to know some one as a little kid, and then get to tell their love story as an adult! I love that! And of course, I couldn't wait to meet Sadie!Rachael + Sadie came up to Santa Barbara for the day to have a fun little getaway from all their whirlwind wedding planning and let me document their love! I adored spending time getting to know them both better! These two are so perfect for each other-- they make each other laugh, they randomly break out into song and dance, they smile radiantly! I had so much fun exploring Santa Barbara with them, and I think they had a ton of fun being photographed, even though prior to the shoot they had told me they were a tad nervous! But seriously, they fooled me because they were all smiles and laughs throughout the shoot! The session was such a blast and I can't wait for their wedding this Fall! YAY!Check out the images below:
