+ How Much Does It Cost To Book A Shoot?
Photoshoots begin at $1290. This includes hair & makeup and $1000 credit towards your final retouched portraits. Most clients choose to order an album package and end up spending on average $4400 total (though some spend less and some spend more).
+ What Does The $1290 Include?
The $1290 includes:
- STYLING CONSULTATION - to discuss your vision for how you want to be photographed and coach you on what to wear/styling (value: $300)
- HAIR & MAKE UP - professional hair & makeup on your photoshoot date (value: $250)
- ACCESS TO STUDIO WARDROBE - you have unlimited access to our studio closet of couture gowns and other fun accessories if you wish to wear them for your shoot (value: $300)
- PHOTOSHOOT - a 3 hour photoshoot with Ashleigh
- IMAGE VIEWING & ORDER SESSION - immediately after your session we will review your images and choose what to order. You have a $1000 credit towards any a la carte images, or image packages that you want to order.
+ What do most clients spend?
Most clients spend $4400 and receive a collection of 20 images in a luxurious album and a piece of wall art if they did a boudoir or glam shoot. Personal brand clients spend the same but receive 25 images with a commercial license.
This is about what you love and you won't know what you view your photos after the photoshoot! So this isn't something to worry about now, it's a decision you make later when you see the results of our shoot.
+ I'M DEFINITELY GOING TO WANT AN ALBUM, SO I AM WONDERING IF YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS OR A PRE-PAY DISCOUNT?
Absolutely!
Pre-pay discounts are for those who know they are definitely going to want an album and want to pay for it in full ahead of the shoot date. If you want to do this we can give you a 5% discount.
We do offer payment plans for those who wish to order an album package but appreciate the flexibility of paying in installments. Payment plans are done via a monthly auto pay and typically need to be paid off within 6 months of ordering the album. We can discuss more details on the phone if you want to go this route. My goal is always to be fair and flexible because I want you to get all the images you desire.
+ Do you accept credit cards?
Yes we accept visa and mastercard.
+ Where are you based?
Our studio is based in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA (in the heart of downtown).
+ Do you work with clients vacationing in Santa Barbara?
Yes! Many of our clients do their shoot while here on vacation (some even plan their whole trip around working with me). We can do your design consultation and reveal via zoom if you live afar.
+ Do you travel?
I love to travel! I have done shoots for clients in Paris, Italy, Ireland, Costa Rica, Iceland, Canada and Hawaii. If you’d like a portrait shoot in an exotic locale, or your hometown, please get in touch and we will discuss how to make it happen and what travel fees would apply.
+ What days of the week do you shoot?
Most of our shoots take place on weekdays (M-F). Our world class hair and makeup artists also work weddings, so to guarantee the best beauty team for your day we have found weekday shoots work best. Many of our clients take a half or full day off work to “play hooky” and enjoy some pampering. We do try to keep a couple weekend dates open per month for clients who absolutely need this option but these dates come with an additional fee and are booked on a first come first served basis.
+ What Will I Wear?
We will coach you on what to wear. You can wear up to 4 different outfits in your photoshoot. I ask clients send me some inspiration images (ideally from my own portfolio, but these can be from instagram or pinterest too). Then on our styling consultation we can further flesh out the ideas of what you should wear. Most clients will be photographed in a mix of wardrobe they bring and my studio wardrobe. At the end of the day, I want to photograph you based on YOUR UNIQUE VISION. Each shoot really is tailored to each client's taste and preferences.
+ Tell Me About The Studio Wardrobe You Have?
One thing that makes my studio unique is the collection of couture gowns & accessories I have curated and make available to clients. Although the gowns and pieces in my collection could easily be rented for hundreds of dollars a piece, I let my clients use them at the shoot at no additional cost.
Some particularly popular items include my Ostrich Feather Victoria's Secret Inspired Angel Wings, my signature Cristian Siriano inspired red tulle gown, my ruffle & feather tulle dressing robes (that can become gowns, maternity gowns, or even robes over lingerie). I have a wide variety of pieces and accessories such as body chains, pearl necklaces, flower crowns etc.
If you loved playing dress up as a kid, my studio is likely your dream come true.
+TELL ME ABOUT YOU. WHAT MAKES WORKING WITH YOU UNIQUE?
I absolutely love being a portrait photographer because I love watching the transformations that happen in my studio. Most clients walk in a bit shy and nervous but by the end of the shoot are strutting around my studio like a confident queen. And that's just the beginning! Once they see the final images there's everything from happy giggles to tears of joy to smiles of pride. It means the world to me to create an experience and collection of images that mean so much to my clients and leave them feeling gorgeous and radiant.
I have been tremendously blessed to have been doing this work for the last 13 years, and to have had my studio in Santa Barbara for 8 years. I have worked with hundreds of women in this span of time and really have learned how to make every woman look and feel fabulous in photos.

+ I'm not photogenic though! Is that OK?
Whoa, stop right there beauty! I simply don't believe in "photogenic." It's my job as the photographer to make you look and feel amazing! And lucky for you I am a trained master at making women of all ages, shapes and sizes look amazing in photographs.
+ I have no idea how to pose either!
I absolutely do not expect you to pose yourself! You've likely never had a photoshoot like this before, but I do this every day :) That is why I will guide and direct you through all the poses and come up with the ideas. I will take care of you and make sure you feel confident in posing for the camera.

+ What is your turnaround time?
Ideally I like to have about 4-6 weeks from initial point of contact to the delivering of pictures. However, I have been known to turn a shoot around in as little as 2.5 weeks (yes with pictures in print). If you are on a deadline with your images please get in touch and I’ll see what I can do for you.

If it's a YES for you to booking, we will get your shoot date picked out and send you a photoshoot agreement to electronically sign. A retainer of $645 (50% of the $1290 booking fee) is also needed to hold the date. We accept credit cards which can be paid over the phone or venmo or zelle.
