I am so excited to share this chic Downtown Los Angeles wedding-- and even better it's the wedding of Susie + Eric, one of my favorite couples! Susie and Eric came to me about a year ago and I instantly fell in love with these two! Susie is super sweet, stylish, caring and just an all around lovely gal! Eric is super outgoing, funny, and just an all around fun guy to be around. I knew then that their wedding was going to be special, and it definitely surpassed expectations! From the gorgeous Downtown LA setting-- they got ready at The Millennium Biltmore Hotel and had their reception at Cafe Pinot-- to their intimate Armenian wedding ceremony in honor of Eric's heritage, to the amazing "first performance" to the Biebs, to some of the funniest toasts I've ever heard... Yes it was a truly amazing day! The other thing that really stood out to me was how many wonderful friends these two have! With a bridal party of 22 people, you'd think it would be utter chaos, but all their friends were so cooperative and easy going during group pics. They just were all so happy to see their friends get married, and you could feel the love between them all! Loves it!Thank you to Angel for second shooting this wedding with me! Where do I even begin when it comes to writing a blog for my BFF's engagement photos?? In some ways it seems like I just met Mandi, but the truth is we met 5 years ago in an acting class. Yep, this was before I even considered being a professional photographer and was still trying to make it big in Hollywood. I think I was in class a few months before Mandi and I really spoke to each other. But one day it all clicked and I realized we had tons in common, like she's from Boston and I lived in Boston, we both love cooking, fashion, obviously we both loved acting and theater, we both were living with our boyfriends, we both had day jobs that were kinda cool and kinda lame all at once... the list went on and on. From that point forward we were fast friends and during our friendship I think we've watched each other go through a lot, grow up, and work toward reaching our goals! In the course of our friendship, I have gotten to know Mandi's love Dan quite well too! He is an all around awesome guy-- smart, funny, handsome, super caring. Basically he's perfect, except when you are having game night and he starts whooping your ass in Scattergories. Really, Dan, you gotta stop that! ;)I am reallllllllly lucky to have friends like Mandi + Dan! And I am incredibly excited to be here to support them during their engagement and their marriage! I am just giddy over all the wedding plans, and the fact that I get to be a bridesmaid AND their photographer, and I just can't wait to see what the future holds for them! Because I know it will be fabulous! It's truly been an honor having them as friends, and even more of an honor getting to document their love in photos!Mandi + Dan are both actors and both have a funky-fabulous sense of style! We felt that Downtown LA was the perfect backdrop for their shoot as it really represents them, and how they have embraced LA as their home together! I am totally in love with the photos... hope you will love them too!!! Oh and special thanks to Juli of Susie Chhuor Hair + Make Up Team for Mandi's incredible look!

I met Adriana through one of my favorite past brides, Dani! Adriana is so sweet, stylish and beautiful just like Dani! And her love for her fiance Phil is powerful! I absolutely loved getting to know these two and document this special time in their lives-- their engagement!Adriana wanted to shoot at Union Station in Downtown LA, which I love! That location is so historic and beautiful and it ALWAYS inspires me. I love downtown shoots-- especially mixing the old and new, the classic with the funky, the historic with the modern, the grit with the glamor! Oh yes, I love Downtown shoots oh so much!! After Union Station, I asked these two to follow me to a secret, amazetastic shooting spot I discovered via the Callaways. Only thing is we got lost and I think I made them circle some funky neighborhoods wayyyy too many times. Luckily I called Brian + Allie and they got my lost tushie back on track-- so thankful to them! Because the second spot really did make this shoot EXTRA awesome!Thanks Adriana and Phil for trusting me with your love story, and trusting me as your tour guide through some somewhat sketchy areas of Downtown LA! LOL! You two are so sweet and I know your love will last a life time! The images we created were pure magic and some of my faves to date! So thank you for rocking it for my camera.
