Disney Concert Hall, Downtown Los Angeles Engagement | Mandi + Dan

Where do I even begin when it comes to writing a blog for my BFF's engagement photos?? In some ways it seems like I just met Mandi, but the truth is we met 5 years ago in an acting class. Yep, this was before I even considered being a professional photographer and was still trying to make it big in Hollywood. I think I was in class a few months before Mandi and I really spoke to each other. But one day it all clicked and I realized we had tons in common, like she's from Boston and I lived in Boston, we both love cooking, fashion, obviously we both loved acting and theater, we both were living with our boyfriends, we both had day jobs that were kinda cool and kinda lame all at once... the list went on and on. From that point forward we were fast friends and during our friendship I think we've watched each other go through a lot, grow up, and work toward reaching our goals! In the course of our friendship, I have gotten to know Mandi's love Dan quite well too! He is an all around awesome guy-- smart, funny, handsome, super caring. Basically he's perfect, except when you are having game night and he starts whooping your ass in Scattergories. Really, Dan, you gotta stop that! ;)I am reallllllllly lucky to have friends like Mandi + Dan! And I am incredibly excited to be here to support them during their engagement and their marriage! I am just giddy over all the wedding plans, and the fact that I get to be a bridesmaid AND their photographer, and I just can't wait to see what the future holds for them! Because I know it will be fabulous! It's truly been an honor having them as friends, and even more of an honor getting to document their love in photos!Mandi + Dan are both actors and both have a funky-fabulous sense of style! We felt that Downtown LA was the perfect backdrop for their shoot as it really represents them, and how they have embraced LA as their home together!
