It's time to share a boudoir shoot from my Santa Barbara studio... and it's a throwback! Wait, what? As you may know I used to have my blog on a different domain! Shout out to anyone who has followed me that long! Well, as I close that domain down, I thought it might be fun to revisit and share some of my favorite old shoots and posts from that blog here! I shall call these Throwback Thursday posts! So here we go! Ms. J's first boudoir shoot with me was so many years ago now. In my old tiny studio during a simpler time... I still LOVE these portraits so much though! Even better is that J and I have become friends and I've photographed her twice since this shoot (including in my new studio) and maybe there's more to come!Here's what I wrote in the initial post which was less about J and how I shoot boudoir here in my Santa Barbara studio:When I shoot a boudoir shoot I like to capture all the different sides to a woman.Her soft side, her bold side, her relaxed side, her carefree side. I find a woman’s different moods and expressions to all be sexy in their own unique way. Not every look has to be about strapping on the garters and stilettos… But then again, we shouldn’t let a whole shoot go by without really being brave with one super sexy look should we?I love this shoot because there are so many moods captured the bold and daring to the soft and intimate. And dang if my client doesn’t just have LEGS FOR DAYS!
