I LOVE anything that adds color to a wedding! And any unique or unexpected details always thrill me because I LOVE photographing details! So it is no wonder why I am totally in love with this DIY Papel Picado Flag project via Green Wedding Shoes! These flags are fairly easy to make, inexpensive, and yet add so much character to a wedding. They of course work perfectly with a Mexican themed wedding, but really this would be fabulous for any wedding that is a little funky, hand made and modern! I also love that you can make these in any color you so choose! They look great above in purple but I could also see them in pinks, teals, yellows or oranges. In fact, even all white would be lovely! You could make many strands of these to string across an entire reception, or just one strand to hang behind a cake or dessert table! So many possibilities with this one which is why I love it so!
