+ What Does The Price of The Retreat Include?

Retreat tickets start at $7500 for a shared room. The price includes accomodations at a 5* hotel in the city center of Paris, daily breakfast at the hotel, most meals (one lunch, one brunch and two dinners), and unique curated group experiences in Paris (such as a night out at a cabaret, a make your own bag workshop, etc). The price also includes Ashleigh's signature Paris portrait shoot with 10 fully retouched images of your choice(value $4200).

Basically for only a few thousand more than booking Ashleigh for a private Paris photoshoot, you get a photoshoot plus a planned for you weekend trip (accomodations, meals & activities) in Paris and the chance to make connections with other women. It's a no brainer!

+ Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, there is a payment plan available, however, the trip must be paid in full 4 weeks before departure.

+ How is this different than a private photoshoot?

A private shoot would just me and you together for 90 minutes of camera time, so my whole focus would be solely on you. The photoshoot on this trip is done with a group of women, so you will have less 1:1 time with me and less time on camera. However, you will still receive solo portraits at all 3 iconic locations and at least 10 absolutely stunning Parisian portraits. And you will still be able to wear the 3 outfits you bring to be photographed in. I will pose you and guide you when you are on camera. I am an extremely efficient and fast photographer, so even though we will have less time together than a private shoot (approximately 20-25 minutes on camera time) you will still have a great result. And you get the support of other women cheering you on.

+ Is this a business retreat?

This retreat does not have any "official" workshops or education, however, the photoshoot images can of course be used as personal branding images for you! If you decide to use your Paris portraits for your business marketing, I suppose you could consider it a business retreat! You will also be relationship building with all the amazing women on retreat too-- so I guess you could call that networking, although it's so much more!

As always Ashleigh is a natural coach and open book, and you will be hanging out for 3 days. If you have some business questions, you are more than welcome to ask her!

+ I am not a photographer or business owner. Is this retreat for me?

Certainly! Our last retreat to Spain had zero photographers or business owners-- it was all women who were private photography clients of Ashleigh's (or their friends) and wanted a unique travel experience and an opportunity to have a destination shoot with Ashleigh. This Paris trip fits the same purpose. This is all about being around inspiring women, retreating from daily life, and getting to live out your glamorous Emily in Paris dreams! Plus you get extraordinary portraits of yourself if Paris to cherish forever! What a delight! This is the ultimate ladies trip!

+ I am a photographer. Is there any opportunity for me to learn or take photos?

Certainly! Sometimes the best way to learn is to experience things first hand! You will see first hand how Ashleigh organzises her Paris photoshoots, the locations she chooses, etc.

There is also free time in the itinerary where you could even arrange your own portfolio build shoots.

We will also be taking you to the most photogenic spots in Paris throughout the retreat, so as a photographer you will be in heaven!

+ What is the VIP Upgrade? Do I need it?

The VIP Upgrade is a way to further elevate this experience and receive heirloom artwork you can keep forever to remind you of this amazing experience.

You will receive pro hair and makeup on the official photoshoot day.

You get to choose 13 additonal images (25 total) from our shoot to have retouched.

You get all your 25 photoshoot images printed and delivered in a stunning album or folio box, so you can truly look at these images forever.

You will also receive an 11x14 framed wall art piece of your choice so you can see one of your beautiful portraits daily in your home.

The VIP Upgrade is optional and costs $2500 extra.

+ Is there any free time to explore Paris on my own?

This trip is a weekend in Paris and we will be fairly busy between our photoshoot, image reveal, and our included meals/activities. While we certainly do not want to over pack the trip-- we do want you to get the most of this experience.

That said, on the photoshoot day you have dinner on your own and the evening free to yourself. This was intentionally chosen knowing some women may be tired and wanting to eat at the hotel restaurant and go to bed early, while others may want to enjoy a night out in Paris! The freedom and choice is yours.

The hotel has a concierge you can utilize to help you make the most of your free time too!

You may wish to further extend your trip to spend more time in Paris or visit nearby cities/countries at your own cost. Many of our Spain retreat clients saw more of Europe before or after the retreat on their own.

The possibilities are endless.

+ This is the most money I have ever spent on myself. I feel guilty! Help!

I fully understand this hesitation. Women are especially conditioned to put everyone's needs first and the thought of doing something just for yourself can be guilt inducing. Is it ok? What will people think?!! But it's not about THEM, it's about you. If you've never treated yourself in this way, it's time. It's time to put your desires first. It's time to take the space and rest for yourself. It's time to prioritize your dreams and passions. Life is way too short to constantly say "one day". I give you permission to live fully, say yes, and be guilt free. Or as I love to say YOLO (you only live once).

+ I am afraid to travel internationally by myself! Help!

I get it! Traveling solo to a new country can be scary. The first time I traveled solo, I was very nervous.

But oh am I so glad I went because it was a trip and experience I will cherish for my whole life.

Since that trip in 2018 I have traveled solo internationally MANY times, so I am happy to answer any of your concerns or give you tips!

Getting to the hotel from the airport in Paris is very easy, safe and affordable! Just take a taxi! It takes about an hour to get to the hotel from CDG airport.

Remember -- once you make it to the hotel, you will not be solo but with a group of like minded women to hang out with and explore with, so you really won't be alone! We have an itinerary planned so you can just relax, make friends and enjoy!

+ I am nervous to share a room with a stranger. Thoughts?

I totally understand. While I prefer a private room when possible, as a retreat attendee, I have only ever been able to afford the shared room ticket. So what I can say from experience is that actually sharing a room can be more amazing than you think! You end up making a new best friend. In fact, it reminds me of girlhood and sleepovers and how fun that connection used to be that no longer exists in adulthood.

Each shared room has separate single beds so you will not be sharing a bed with a stranger.

You may also want to invite a sister, friend, or loved one to join you for this trip and you can each buy a shared ticket and share a room.

We also have 4 private rooms available-- but these will likely sell fast and are first come, first served!

+ Is this refundable? What if I can no longer attend?

Due to the nature of this in person event, we cannot refund any seats. You should purchase travel insurance to protect your trip which we require you to do.

+ What am I responsible for booking?

You will need to book your flights to Paris. You will also need to book your own travel insurance. Upon arrival you will need to take a taxi to our hotel, and you will need to take a taxi on your own to return to the airport.

+ What about dietary restrictions?

Paris a world class city with many food options, however traditional French food includes a lot of meat, wheat/gluten and dairy. Please reach out to me before booking if you have dietary restrictions, allergies or concerns.

+ What will I wear for the photoshoot?

Do not stress! I will provide a packing list as well a plenty of mood boards and inspiration on what to wear for your photoshoot, as I always do for my clients!
