BOUDOIR + GLAM PORTRAITS
+ How much is a boudoir, maternity or glam portrait shoot?
Photoshoots begin at $1290. This includes hair & makeup and $1000 credit towards purchase of your final portraits. Wall art begins at $500. Album packages range from $2500-7500. Most clients choose to spend $4400 all in.
+ What does the $1290 include?
The $1290 includes:
- STYLING CONSULTATION - to discuss your vision for how you want to be photographed and coach you on what to wear/styling
- HAIR & MAKE UP - professional hair & makeup on your photoshoot date (value: $250)
- ACCESS TO STUDIO WARDROBE - you have unlimited access to our studio closet of couture gowns and other fun accessories if you wish to wear them for your shoot (value: $300)
- PHOTOSHOOT - a 3 hour photoshoot with Ashleigh
- IMAGE VIEWING & ORDER SESSION - immediately after the photoshoot we will sit down to view the images and decide what you want to order. Your $1000 credit will go towards your image order and whatever albums or wall art you choose to purchase.
+ What if I want to order more than my $1000 credit?
Absolutely! When you see all the amazing images we shot, you will likely want to order a combination of an album and wall portraits which will exceed your $1000 credit.
No worries! Your $1000 credit will be taken off your final invoice. If needed, we can also set up a payment plan.
You don't need to decide what you will spend or what package you want until you see your final images.
This is about what you love and you won't know what you love until you see the images I created for you! So this isn't something to worry about now, it's a decision you make later when you see the results of our shoot.
+ I'm definitely going to want an album and likely some wall art, so I am wondering if you have payment plans or a pre-pay discount?
Absolutely!
Pre-pay discounts are for those who know they are definitely going to want an album and want to pay for it in full ahead of the shoot date. If you want to do this we can give you a 5% discount.
We do offer payment plans for those who wish to upgrade to an album but appreciate the flexibility of paying in installments. Payment plans are done via a monthly auto pay and typically need to be paid off within 6 months of ordering the album. We can discuss more details on the phone if you want to go this route. My goal is always to be fair and flexible because I want you to get all the images you desire.
+ Where does the shoot take place?
At our studio in downtown Santa Barbara CA.
+ What days do you have available for this shoot?
We shoot Mondays - Fridays typically with at 10:30am start and wrapping by 2:00pm. Availability is first come, first served and based on both Ashleigh's schedule and our hair & makeup artist's schedule.
Weekend shoot availability is extremely limited but sometimes can be arranged. Please inqure.
+ What will I wear?
We will coach you on what to wear. You can wear up to 4 different outfits in your photoshoot. I ask clients send me some inspiration images (ideally from my own portfolio, but these can be from instagram or pinterest too). Then on our styling consultation we can further flesh out the ideas of what you should wear. Most clients will be photographed in a mix of wardrobe they bring and my studio wardrobe. At the end of the day, I want to photograph you based on YOUR UNIQUE VISION. Each shoot really is tailored to each client's taste and preferences.
+ Tell me about the studio wardrobe you have available?
One thing that makes my studio unique is the collection of couture gowns & accessories I have curated and make available to clients. Although the gowns and pieces in my collection could easily be rented for hundreds of dollars a piece, I let my clients use them at the shoot at no additional cost.
Some particularly popular items include my Ostrich Feather Victoria's Secret Inspired Angel Wings, my signature Cristian Siriano inspired red tulle gown, my ruffle tulle dressing robes (that can become gowns, maternity gowns, or even robes over lingerie). I have a wide variety of pieces and accessories such as body chains, pearl necklaces, flower crowns etc.
If you loved playing dress up as a kid, my studio is likely your dream come true.
+ Tell me about you. What makes working with you unique?
I absolutely love being a portrait photographer because I love watching the transformations that happen in my studio. Most clients walk in a bit shy and nervous but by the end of the shoot are strutting around my studio like a confident queen. And that's just the beginning! Once they see the final images there's everything from happy giggles to tears of joy to smiles of pride. It means the world to me to create an experience and collection of images that mean so much to my clients and leave them feeling gorgeous and radiant.
I have been tremendously blessed to have been doing this work for the last 13 years, and to have had my studio in Santa Barbara for 8 years. I have worked with hundreds of women in this span of time and really have learned how to make every woman look and feel fabulous in photos.

+ I'm not photogenic though! Is that ok?
Whoa, stop right there beauty! I simply don't believe in "photogenic." It's my job as the photographer to make you look and feel amazing! And lucky for you I am a trained master at making women of all ages, shapes and sizes look amazing in photographs.
+ I have no idea how to pose either!
I absolutely do not expect you to pose yourself! You've likely never had a photoshoot like this before, but I do this every day :) That is why I will guide and direct you through all the poses and come up with the ideas. I will take care of you and make sure you feel confident in posing for the camera.
+ What if I'd like to include my children, partner, pet or family later in my session?
Certainly! Once you're all dolled up, it makes sense you might want to add on some shots with loved ones towards the end of the session. Extra hair and make up is $250 per person (if needed). Part of your story is the people (and furry pets) you love. So if you want to include your loved ones, the more the merrier. And you also have total permission to make this photoshoot just about YOU!
+ Can I refer a friend for a photoshoot?
Yes! I would love to photograph your friends. For every friend that books I can give you an additional $100 credit to your album package upgrade.
+ What if I booked my date & paid the retainer and then have to reschedule?
I totally understand that life happens! I do book in my hair & makeup artist's time to be at your photoshoot. Therefore, you are allowed one reschedule more than 7 days out from the shoot at no charge. If we have less than 7 days notice (or this is the second time you need to reschedule) we do charge a $250 rescheduling fee. This goes to compensate the hair & makeup artist for lost work. That said, hopefully this won't be an issue at all.
DUE TO COVID19 - we are being flexible with reschedules as we cannot photograph anyone who is sick or has any symptoms even if mild (runny/stuffy nose, cough, any kind of fever, etc). Our team will not work sick as well to keep you safe. We understand it is a challenging time and will accomodate any COVID19 related reschedules.
+ What is your turnaround time?
Ideally I like to have about 4-6 weeks from initial point of contact to the delivering of pictures. However, I have been known to turn a shoot around in as little as 2.5 weeks (yes with pictures in print). If you are on a deadline with your images please get in touch and I’ll see what I can do for you.

+ I tried to book a call on your calendar but it didn't work! Help?
I'm so sorry! Technology can be both helpful and so annoying, right?! It seems our calendar/call booking system is working for some of you and not others. And I am just as annoyed about that as you are!
