In 2025, I’m on a mission to photograph 50 women over 50
Once complete, we’ll have an exhibition in Santa Barbara to share the portraits and stories of every woman I have photographed.
I’m Ashleigh Taylor, a Santa Barbara based, accredited Master portrait photographer.
I created this project because:
After nearly a decade of photographing hundreds of women, I am always most inspired by my clients over 50
I see the beauty in every woman I meet— even when she is struggling to see it herself.
I love to reflect your beauty back to you so that you can celebrate and experience yourself in a whole new way.
I believe that if there was more representation of women in the media and imagery in society, women would have less anxiety & depression.
I want to celebrate the amazing women in my community over 50.

Join me & you will receive
STYLING + PLANNING
We will have a consultation to discuss your story and your unique vision for the shoot. You will have full access to my studio wardrobe and I will also coach you on what to wear and bring to your shoot so you don’t have to stress about looking your best. You will have time for about 4 outfits/looks during your studio photoshoot.
MAKEOVER
We will do your hair & makeup on the day of your photoshoot. Our pro artist can create anything from soft and natural look to a super glam fashionista look. It’s really about your unique vision. Our artist stays on set for touch ups and can even change up your look if you want to add more drama half way through the shoot.
PHOTOSHOOT
Worried you aren’t photogenic? Don’t worry, Ashleigh’s superpower is turning women into super models through expert direction, lighting, styling & posing.
The photoshoot is extremely fun and empowering. You may enter a little shy and nervous but you will definitely strut out the door with confidence when the session is over. Plan a night out in Santa Barbara because you will look gorgeous & feel on cloud nine!
IMAGE REVEAL + SELECTION
About two weeks after the shoot you will come back to the studio for the big reveal of your images (or we can video conference on Zoom if you are traveling for the shoot)! This is where we will select the complimentary image included in your package (which will also be featured in the final 50 Over 50 exhibition) or you can order more images if you’d like! There will definitely be a ton of stunning ones to choose from!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
I’m offering the 50 over 50 special promotion package for just $499. (A total retail value of $1290)
WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
As one of the women in my 50 over 50 project you will receive:
CONSULTATION - to share your story and how you want to be photographed and to plan the wardrobe & styling
ACCESS TO STUDIO WARDROBE - you may wear any of the couture pieces in our studio wardrobe during your shoot, if you desire
HAIR & MAKEUP - you will get your hair & makeup done for the photoshoot. We will custom tailor your hair & makeup look to your vision & desires
PHOTOSHOOT WITH ASHLEIGH - a fully guided photoshoot at our Santa Barbara CA studio* to help you feel confident & radiant
*we are not able to travel for this project currently
IMAGE REVEAL - where you see all your images & select/order your favorites
PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE - You will get one portrait of your choice (a $499 value) in print & digital format. Or, if you wish to get more than one image, we can give you a $499 print credit to a larger package with more images instead.
YOUR STORY FEATURED - your story & photos will be published on our blog & social media so we can share how fabulous you are with the world
TICKET TO PORTRAIT EXHIBITION - when the project is complete, we will host an exhibition featuring a portrait of each of the fabulous 50 women over 50 we have photographed. You will have a ticket to attend this event .
